Affordable NYC

I'm back at one of my favorite cities, this time to attend a BlogHer conference (which I highly recommend to my fellow bloggers or to those thinking about starting a blog). You'll be inspired and empowered and you'll gain some fascinating new friendships.

Hand Dancing in D.C.

Even though I'd seen Capitol Hill a million times on TV, nothing prepared me for its beauty and majesty or for the number of must-see attractions. I hope to return someday in order to see and do all that I missed . . . and to do more Hand Dancing!

Salsa in NYC

Travel is insanely fun! I've been told I’m like a puppy wagging its tail when I get to my destinations. I’m delighted by all the sights, sounds and smells and can’t wait to experience them all! This was especially true for New York because after a lifetime of watching it on TV and movies, I'm finally here!

Salsa Dancing originated in New York in the mid 1970's so it's the perfect place for a Salsa Festival.

A Dance Cruise

My first trip was a Caribbean dance cruise with Stardust Dance Productions. This is an incredible deal for dancers. The cruise in 2012 was about $650 (which, of course, included all meals and entertainment). Also included were over 50 dance workshops for 20 different dances - from Argentine Tango to Waltz, from beginner to advanced levels.
